1. Het bundelen van krachten van circusdocenten en circusartiesten in Nederland die hun kwaliteiten willen inzetten voor kinderen in ontwikkelingslanden.
2. Steunen van partnerorganisaties in ontwikkelingslanden.
werkwijze
Circus For Development is allereerst een platform waar circusdocenten of -artiesten:
- hun ervaringen delen over het werken in een ontwikkelingsland
- elkaar ondersteunen in het opzetten van nieuwe projecten
Verder hebben we contacten met jeugdcircussen in ontwikkelingslanden die we op verschillende manieren ondersteunen. Bijvoorbeeld met circusmateriaal, geld of het sturen van vrijwilligers.
ontstaan
Circus For Development is voortgekomen uit Stichting Capriool Circusprojecten. Omdat bij Capriool het werken in Nederland steeds meer plaats in nam, werd het noodzakelijk om het ontwikkelingswerk onder te brengen in een aparte organisatie.

First of all Circus For Development is a platform for circusteachers and circusartists to:
- share their experience about working in third world countries.
- support each other starting new projects.
We have a lot of contact with youthcircuses in third world countries. We support them by sending circusmaterial, money or voluntary work.
